Community involvement

Youth at Rivers

Help protect local waterways through hands-on community service.

Small actions. Healthier waterways.

Bigedu Foundation invites young volunteers to join our neighbourhood Youth at Rivers program. By removing litter and debris, participants help reduce pollution, support wildlife and care for the rivers and streams in their community.

What volunteers do

  • Remove litter and debris from riverbank areas
  • Help sort and recycle collected litter

Why take part?

  • Earn community service hours
  • Develop teamwork and leadership skills
  • Build environmental awareness
  • Make a meaningful contribution to the community

What to expect

No prior experience is required. The foundation provides the necessary tools, safety equipment, on-site guidance and lunch. Activities follow safety protocols and take place during holidays and school breaks.
